Stel je voor… een eiland met ongekende diversiteit. Een baai en drie bijzondere landschappen. Door het gebied kronkelt een ontdekkingsroute waarlangs je leert over jouw relatie met de natuur.
Stichting Weerwoud toont hier hoe rijk ecosysteemherstel kan zijn. De sleutel om dat te bereiken? Landbouw met bomen, struiken en vaste planten. Herstellende landbouw dus. Van akker tot stadsgroen. Misschien wel dé oplossing op het vraagstuk van deze generatie.
Middels de documentaires leer je over het opstaan van dit bijzondere project en ook hoe het ook inspiratieplek is voor agrariërs in Flevoland en ver daarbuiten.
Belangrijke informatie
De documentaire is toegankelijk voor jong en oud, rolstoel of ter been. Max 30 mensen per vertoning. Aanmelden kan niet en vol is vol. Volg ook de rondleiding die voorafgaand en na de documentaires starten op het plein waar de bijeenkomstkas aan grenst.
Utopia eiland herken je aan de rood-wit gestreepte uitkijktoren die daar midden op staat. De rondleiding start ten westen daarvan op het Plein van het Agroforestry Perceel. Je kunt het plein vinden door op Google Maps te zoeken op Weerwoud. Als je geen google maps hebt, neem dan het houten vlonder pad links van het grote cortenstalen informatiebord over Agroforestry. Dat bord is precies op de hoek van de weg genaamd: Arboretum West.

Important information
The documentary is accessible to young and old, wheelchair or walking. Max 30 people per screening. Registration is not possible and full is full. Also follow the guided tour that starts before and after the documentaries on the square adjacent to the meeting greenhouse.
Utopia Island can be recognised by the red and white striped watchtower that stands in the middle of it. The tour starts west of it at the Agroforestry Plot Square. You can find the square by searching Weerwoud on Google Maps. If you don’t have google maps, take the wooden decking path to the left of the large corten steel information board about Agroforestry. That sign is right at the corner of the road called: Arboretum West.
