Het begon met het telen van noten; lekker, gezond en ze groeien goed in het Nederlandse klimaat. Inmiddels hebben ze bij Plantage Nieuwland ook een imkerij, pluimvee en kweken ze verschillende soorten groentes en fruit. Door het aanbieden van een nuttige dagbesteding aan mensen met een beperking of het verzorgen van boerderijlessen aan schoolklassen, willen zij ook een maatschappelijke rol vervullen.

Take a tour around the vegetable garden and the nut trees, while the chickens, turkeys and bees go about their business.
It all started with the idea of planting and harvesting nuts; tasty, healthy and known for thriving in the Dutch soil and climate. Nieuwland estate now also boasts an apiary, a chicken farm and several types of fruit and vegetable plants. They are also contributing to social responsibility by offering useful daytime activities to people with disabilities and by providing farm lessons to school classes.
