Meedoen is gratis, geef je op via debretten@amsterdam.nl. Tip: Trek makkelijke en niet je mooiste kleren aan, breng een grote dosis nieuwsgierigheid mee en zet je zintuigen aan!
De wandeling begint én eindigt op het Pionierspark. Bij terugkomst openen we samen het park met hapjes uit de natuur en muziek uit de buurt.
Deze ontdekkingstocht naar jouw plek én verbinding in het landschap van Nieuw-West is een samenwerking tussen Gemeente Amsterdam, Pop-Up City en IVN Amsterdam om bewoners van Nieuw-West op een interactieve manier te verbinden met stadsnatuur én te beleven hoe belangrijk deze stukjes natuur zijn voor de biodiversiteit én jezelf.
Locatie: Pionierspark Bedrijventerrein Sloterdijk III Zuid en stadswildernis De Bretten.

Nieuw-West is a dynamic habitat, not only for people, but also for plants and animals. The landscape is far from passive and always innovating. From the pioneer park in Sloterdijk III, the urban wilderness of De Bretten to the plants that cover the pavement of Nieuw-West. Residents of Nieuw-West are undeniably linked to the rough nature around them. Discover what the landscape of Nieuw-West is telling you, how it nourishes you and learn how to look at nature in the city through a different lens.
Important information
It is free to participate but please make sure to register by sending an email to debretten@amsterdam.nl. Tip: Wear comfortable clothes (and clothes that can get dirty), bring your youthful curiosity and be prepared for your senses to be stimulated!
The walk starts and ends at the Pionierspark. When we return, will open the park together while enjoying locally-grown food and music around the neighborhood.
This journey of discovery within the landscape of Nieuw-West is a collaboration between the Municipality of Amsterdam, Pop-Up City and IVN Amsterdam. The objective is to interactively connect residents of Nieuw-West with urban nature and to let them feel and experience how important these areas of nature are for biodiversity and mankind.
