Biodiversiteit en het klimaat gaan hand in hand. Middels een mini-expo over vlinders, de documentaire ‘Amsterdam Wildlife’ van Martin Melchers (over de wilde dieren in de stad) en verschillende interactieve elementen leer je zien, voelen, proeven en begrijpen wat de relaties zijn en wat je zelf kan doen om de stad klimaatbestendiger en dus leefbaarder te maken!

Biodiversity and climate go hand in hand. Through a mini-expo on butterflies, the documentary ‘Amsterdam Wildlife’ by Martin Melchers (about the wild animals in the city) and various interactive elements you will learn to see, feel, taste and understand the relationships and what you yourself can do to make the city more climate proof and therefore more liveable!
Important information
ANMEC and the Groenpunt020 are located in the old botany laboratory of the Hortus Botanicus (Hugo de Vries Laboratory). A national monument, now home to several green organizations. There will be a mini-expo on butterfly garden Mot in Mokum, the documentary ‘Wild Amsterdam’ by city ecologist Martin Melchers will be shown and the historic botanical library on the second floor will be open to visitors. In addition, we will visualize water problems in the city by means of a water table in the Nature Media Library and you can ask us all your green questions, such as:
– How can I expand my facade garden?
– How do I apply for a green roof?
– Where can I find more information about subsidies?
